1. Introduction, definitions, and the voluntary, non-profit nature of the event
1.1. The Hebrew version of these rules uses masculine grammatical forms for convenience only. These rules apply to and bind all participants, visitors, volunteers, team members, guests and family members (collectively, “the participant” or “participants”).
1.2. A voluntary, non-profit event: it is expressly and unequivocally clarified that the festival, the team day and all related activities do not constitute a commercial business, company or for-profit event production in any way. All management, organisation and production are carried out entirely by volunteers, solely as a contribution to the community and an act of giving by the festival’s initiators, team and contributors. Any participation fees or nominal charges are intended solely to cover basic, direct operating expenses, such as equipment and venue hire. They do not constitute commercial consideration or the sale of services.
1.3. Dates:
The preparatory team day takes place on 29 September. It is an integral part of these rules, which bind everyone present that day.
The full festival runs from 30 September to 3 October, inclusive.
1.4. These rules apply without exception to participants of every age: adults, teenagers, children and infants, team members and volunteers. Registration, arrival or presence at the event constitutes full, informed and unconditional agreement to every provision of these rules.
2. Spiritual identity and values
2.1. The event is based on the beliefs and values of the Hebrew Bible and the New Testament. Its content, atmosphere and spirit reflect these traditions. Each participant declares that they are aware of this and respect the character of the venue and community.
3. Admission, security and identification
3.1. Admission requires a valid ticket and a physical identification document that fully matches the participant’s details. The organisers are a private, voluntary body and reserve the exclusive right to choose participants and refuse admission to any person at their sole discretion.
3.2. Minors under 18 may enter only with full accompaniment or written parental permission. Parents or legal guardians bear full, sole and absolute responsibility for every act, omission, damage, injury or behaviour of their children, at all hours and throughout the festival grounds, including accommodation, the pool and activities. Parents must provide full, close and continuous supervision at all times. As the organisers operate entirely on a voluntary basis, they do not in any way act as supervisors of, or assume responsibility for, minors.
4. Cancellation, tickets and transfers
4.1. Tickets cannot be transferred to another person under any circumstances. Registration and tickets are strictly personal and issued in the participant’s name.
4.2. Refunds for personal cancellations are available only until 20.09.2026. No refunds will be issued after that date.
4.3. Emergencies and force majeure: these are complex times. If the event cannot take place as planned because of the security situation, instructions from the security authorities or other force majeure, payments made to cover expenses will be refunded as far as possible, in full subject to the resources available to the donation-funded organisers.
5. Unregistered guests and personal responsibility for third parties
5.1. Any participant who invites or brings friends, family or acquaintances who have not completed proper, verified registration through the organisers’ systems does so entirely at their own responsibility.
5.2. Since the organisers are unaware of people independently brought by participants, any damage, injury, claim, cost or problem caused by such an unregistered guest is solely the responsibility of the participant who invited or brought them. That participant releases the organisers and volunteers in advance from all responsibility for it.
6. Leaving for the march, transport and travel
6.1. The event includes an outing to a march outside the festival grounds. The organisers and volunteers disclaim all responsibility for any accident, injury, bodily harm, property damage, delay or incident of any kind during the march or travel to and from it.
6.2. Participants travel to the march or external venues in their own vehicles at their sole responsibility, or in dedicated buses if that option is purchased in advance. Use of the event’s public or organised transport and everything associated with it is solely at the passengers’ responsibility. The organisers bear no responsibility for related damage, loss or accidents.
7. Comprehensive and absolute release from legal liability
7.1. The participant expressly declares and confirms that they understand that the organisers’ work is entirely voluntary and non-profit. They irrevocably and finally waive in advance every right to bring a claim, demand, complaint or allegation against the organising body, its organisers, volunteers, activists, employees, representatives or anyone acting on their behalf.
7.2. The organisers and volunteers bear no direct or indirect responsibility for loss, theft, damage or loss of value of any participant’s personal property, equipment, money or documents. This includes bedding and personal equipment participants are required to bring from home, for which they alone are responsible.
7.3. Because the event is voluntary and community-based, the organisers and volunteers bear no legal, civil or criminal liability for injuries, bodily harm, illness, property damage or any other harm of any kind suffered by a participant, including during sports, pool activities, swimming, use of facilities, games or any other recreation inside or outside the grounds. All presence and activity at the venue are entirely at the participant’s sole responsibility, and the participant shall have no cause of action against any volunteer or organiser of this charitable initiative.
8. Conduct and safety on site
8.1. Alcohol and glass: bringing or consuming alcoholic drinks, or bringing or using glass containers or utensils, anywhere on the festival grounds is strictly prohibited.
8.2. Smoking is permitted only outside the main areas and only in the designated, marked smoking areas.
8.3. Zero tolerance for harassment: the event is committed to a safe, clean and respectful environment, free of sexual, verbal or physical harassment. The organisers have zero tolerance for violations of this safe environment. Anyone violating these rules will be removed immediately without a refund.
9. Photography and visual documentation
9.1. The entire event is photographed and filmed.
9.2. Participation, arrival and presence at the event constitute the participant’s irrevocable consent for the organisers to freely use recorded material, including images of the participant, their family and children, for publicity, community marketing, social media and documentation, without financial or legal compensation and without further approval.
